ABOUT THE OIL
Distilling a true Aceh oud oil is an event defined by patience and opportunity. Aceh Senkoh was born from an extraordinary discovery: a private, long-treasured reserve of wild Sumatran agarwood that had been aged for years in isolation. To honor material of this rarity, we refused to distill mere wood shavings. Instead, we committed whole agarwood logs and dense, resin-saturated chips to our copper pots.
Extracted from wild Aquilaria Hirta, this release is the result of a 23-day low-temperature hydro-distillation and purification journey. By carefully regulating the heat at every stage, we extracted the heavy, opulent aromatics of the raw wood while keeping the scent completely free of scorched or harsh notes.
Yielding a precious, highly concentrated micro-batch, Aceh Senkoh is a celebration of raw Sumatran power. Freshly purified and currently resting, time acts as the final craftsman slowly unlocking its deepest, most velvety layers day by day.
BATCH & VINTAGE NOTES
Every release of Aceh Senkoh is produced strictly in micro-batches to ensure complete purity and craftsmanship. Batch 0.1 represents our inaugural distillation of Aceh Aquilaria Hirta in 2026. Any subsequent runs from this origin within 2026 will follow as sequential sub-batches (e.g., 0.2, 0.3) through year-end.

Built around the legendary Sumatran pairing of aged leather and aromatic pipe tobacco, Aceh Senkoh delivers a bold, dark-balsamic signature with zero animalic or burnt undertones:
Top Notes (First Impression): Opens with a rich, dark-herbal clarity evoking steeped black tea leaves, crushed sun-dried spices, and a whisper of bittersweet dark cacao.
Heart Notes (The Core): At its center, the incense core unfolds in full glory. Luxurious wafts of vaporizing resin meld seamlessly with golden pipe tobacco leaf, supple cured leather, and a deep, resinous warmth.
Base Notes (Dry Down & Longevity): The dry down settles into a dense, velvety foundation of antique forest wood, sweet balsamic resin, and an enduring warmth that lingers on skin for over hours.
